Carhartt Michigan Chore Coat

Coloured to a distinctive soft aloe colourway, this lightweight Michigan Chore Coat from Carhartt is made from 8.5oz 100% cotton ‘Newcomb’ Drill, a material with a smooth surface that layers easily upon t-shirts and sweats. On the front there are two chest pockets, one with a branded single button closure and the other a patch pocket with a square Carhartt WIP label sewn on top. Below, there are two larger patch pockets at the waist. The front is fastened by a selection of silver buttons and a pointed collar neckline sits above. Durable triple top stitching is visible across the shoulders, arm holes, side seams and on the reverse. Both sleeves have shaped, single button cuffs and the hem of the body has a straight finish.

Carhartt introduced their WIP project in 1994 and have continued to inspire streetwear trends and various social circles with their rich array of experimental, high quality designs. For spring/summer 19, a rich ‘90s influence runs across sportswear influenced styles and lightweight reworks of signature styles look to warmer seasons alongside brighter colour tones for a fresh look.
