Carhartt Michigan Chore Coat
An attractive soft lavender colourway in Carhartt’s Michigan Chore Coat silhouette, this new season style is made from 8.5oz 100% cotton ‘Newcomb’ Drill which has a smooth surface and a lightweight finish. Customised silver buttons fasten the front and lead up to a pointed collar neckline and two curved edge pockets sit on either side of the chest, one with a single button closure and the other with a square woven Carhartt WIP logo. Below this, two larger patch pockets offer extra space to store essentials, whilst also adding a distinctive workwear element to the style. Along the sides, armholes, shoulders and on the reverse triple top stitching is visible which adds strength and durability. Both sleeves have shaped, single button cuffs so you can roll the fabric to suit and the body has a straight cut finish.
Each seasonal collection from Carhartt continues to represent the brands unique design style which includes a variety of aesthetics which have developed from the brands workwear heritage and later streetwear influences, which lead to the creation of the WIP project in 1994. ‘90s sportswear plays a key part in the latest spring/summer collection, as do custom stripes and decorative graphics that all encourage a bright take on go-to everyday styles, crafted with Carhartt’s established reputation for durability, cut and material.
